The Broderers’ Exhibition: The Art of Embroidery

Organised by the Broderers’ Company

The Worshipful Company of Broderers is delighted to announce that the Broderers’ Exhibition is coming back to the Bankside Gallery in London between 25 February and 2 March, 2025.

The Broderers’ Exhibition: The Art of Embroidery is an open-submission art exhibition, similar in concept to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. Both established artists and emerging artists can enter their artwork to be considered for inclusion. Selection will be made from digital photographs of finished work. All pieces must be original and available for sale. Submissions close on 31st August 2024.

The exhibition promotes and celebrates embroidery as fine art. It provides artists with a platform to gain exposure, display and sell their artwork and connect with art lovers.

It is organised by the Worshipful Company of Broderers; one of the ancient Livery Companies of the City of London. It was formed to regulate the standard of embroidery, a major City trade in the Middle Ages.
