Artist Statement

She has learnt to make her own felt which she further enhances with hand embroidery. The feeling of embroidery on felt is very satisfying and gives a beautiful finish. She did a series of ‘nudes’ inspired by the impressionist French paintings from Renoir to Modigliani, which resonates with her French roots. The patterned background is more contemporary and sometimes even a bit psychedelic!
