An C18th Tapestry Fragment, Reconstructed

Artist Statement

Angela has recently discovered, and has been working with, some old tapestry fragments. She has enjoyed first mending and then reconstructing them into new, finished pieces, using her sewing machine . Re-using these old pieces reflects current views about recycling and preserving precious items from the past, hopefully extending their useful life.
