Artist Statement
Patricia has embroidered since she was a child, but only started to take it more seriously after taking a taster class at Royal School of Needlework 22 years ago. She enjoys various styles of embroidery, but her favourite one is silk shading. She is very excited to be included in the 2025 Broderers’ Exhibition.
Great White Egrets is inspired by a photograph by Photographer John Draper, taken at Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve in Kent.
