Artist Statement

Janet is a Fine Art professional and graduated with an MA in 2001 from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. Her practice is in painting and mixed media combined with her interest in textiles.
The embroidery for the Broderers Exhibition was influenced by Arabian architecture. Her interest in colours of this particular culture, worked in silk thread on linen.
