Artist Statement

Eileen McNulty, an accomplished embroidery artist, specialises in crafting textile landscapes inspired by her surrounding landscape and the rolling hills of County Meath and Louth in Ireland. She grew up listening to captivating tales of fairy trees in Irish folklore.

Her artworks are a testament to her exceptional skill and her unwavering passion for the art of embroidery. By seamlessly blending traditional techniques with contemporary styles, Eileen creates breathtaking works of art that are both aesthetically pleasing and culturally significant.

Winter Ash uses various coloured threads, cotton, batik, Donegal tweed, and Irish linen. Free Motion Embroidery on my machine using straight and zig-zag stitch.

The price does not include a shipping/delivery fee and she encourages people who purchase work to collect it at the end of the exhibition.
