The Embroidery Artist Silvia Perramon was born in 1988, Barcelona, Spain.
After graduating from Architectural School, in 2012; in 2014 she studied Hand Embroidery at Bead Embroidery and Design Studio, USA, and later in Rome, in 2017.
Silvia lived in China, for her early architectural work, India, to deepen her embroidery skills and then in New York, applying her knowledge to the fashion field. She currently lives in Milano where she collaborates with Haute Couture fashion houses.
She is often invited at Parsons School of Design in New York City as a guest teacher for the couture classes.
Meanwhile she is creating Art, blending all her disciplines and backgrounds, participating in group and solo exhibitions in Rome, Milano and London.
In 2018 Silvia won the World Prize for Embroidery Art issued by Hand and Lock in London UK. Since 2020 she is also a member of the S.E.W. in England.
